Please help me safely root my lg g4


I am trying to root my lg g4, I began the steps of unlocking the bootloader, downloaded the adb.exe etc, however when I type adb reboot bootloader into the command prompt whilst attempting to fetch my device id, it says device not found.. id be really greatful if somebody could walk me through this process. (thanks in advance)

Help me make my actioncam a webcam


I have an amba-based actioncam whose name I wont mention because google shouldnt connect it to this page. I found out how to use it as a webcam:
  1. Connect to the camera via wifi of your phone.
  2. Start the phone app
  3. Connect to your camera
  4. Once the image shows, quit the app
  5. Connect with your computers external wifi adapter(router doesnt work so easily) to the camera
  6. Enter rtsp://192.168.42.1/live in splitcam
  7. Use the stream - in skype etc.
I want to skip 1. to 4. which are necessary, because the camera does not immediately send the stream only after the app does something to it. The camera support was of no help, they even said that streaming to the computer was impossible, so I downloaded the apk and disassembled it. I see how the app connects in the source code, but I cannot see, which commands it sends beforehand, which I would have to emulate in software on my computer. Can you have a look at the attached source code and tell me?

My note 3 no booting Mmc write fail in Odin!


My Phone not boot. After booting and appear official logo, a message appear, who write to me to delete all data. It seems to be an encrypting problem. "Try to encrypt again the dispositive.

In TWRP can install any OS. In ODIN "mmc_write fail".

Any idea?!

Hello i accidentally deleted my data on my phone which ended up deleting operating system too so now i cant boot my phone up it justs gets stuck at the samsung logo i have managed to get it into download mode but my computer or kies doesnt seem to be reading that its connected please help??

How to reset my font

How to reset my font


I havent rooted my p9, but changed my theme using the built in theme manager, the theme.I used I got from hwthemes app from the Google app store the theme was called pure aosp. When I applied the theme it changed my font and I cant seem to get it back to default font! Anyone got any ideas?

My version is HM201413 EU could somebody gently provide me a zip for firmware update (*.bin) or zip ?

I flashed the following zip, thinking that it was for my phone version, which apparently is not:

My Favorite Comments


I get comments all the time regarding the work I do, and theyre usually all very similar. But occasionally one of them will standout above the rest. So I though Id share with you guys a few of my favorites.

1. Got this after telling someone on InsanleyMac to boot with the cpus=1 parameter to prevent the lapic kernel panic. I guess thats all it takes to become the patron saint of freeing HP users.


2. Really liked the response I got from this guy after I modded the Mavericks DP6 kernel for him. Makes me feel like Im actually making a difference.



3. Almost all the comments I receive from my contact page are just begging me for my help, so it was a nice change of pace to get something like this a few days ago. Im extremely grateful for anyone who takes the time to send me something like it. Thanks!


4. Never had anyone try to get others to donate to me before. This was also a nice change of pace from the normal comments. Glad that my work is appreciated.


5. I got this one yesterday. Its a good thing that they didnt leave their email address because I dont even know how to respond to something like this...

Cleaned Up My Blog

Cleaned Up My Blog


Finally got around to removing the sidebar from my blog. It was getting way too cluttered, and I didnt want it to get too distracting. Also didnt like how much space it took up and how some of the bigger pictures I posted went behind it. This also required me to rethink the placement of all my widgets, but they didnt look good anywhere else so I just removed them. This included the blog archive, but it shouldnt be missed too much since I link all my posts in my menu bars drop-down menus. Moved the donation location to its own tab here. Hope you guys like the new format!
