Download CyanogenMod 13 Nightly For Samsung Galaxy S5 SM G900F

Download CyanogenMod 13 Nightly For Samsung Galaxy S5 SM G900F

Samsung Galaxy S5 has been updated to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Well, not officially. The CM team will be supporting the Samsung Galaxy S5 with CM13 builds from now on.

This makes it the second CM13 build that the Samsung Galaxy S5 receives. The first ROM was a beta unofficial build based on CM sources. The second ROM is created and developed by the CyanogenMod team. The build is nightly which means most of the things are working with the exception of some little undetected bugs.

CyanogenMod 13 is a modified version of stock Marshmallow. It comes with extra features and optimizations. And you can install it now on your Samsung Galaxy S5 (KLTE SM-G900F).

How To Install CyanogenMod 13 Nightly on Samsung Galaxy S5

You need a custom recovery like TWRP or PhilZ to successfully install CM13 Nightly ROM on your Samsung Galaxy S5. Additionally, you will need Marshmallow Gapps package to enjoy all the Google apps and services.
  • CyanogenMod 13 Nightly for Galaxy S5 (Download)
  • Gapps for CM13 (Download)
Download both the ROM and Gapps on your computer and then transfer them to the internal storage of your Samsung Galaxy S5.

Flashing G900P Firmware on G900F Device

Flashing G900P Firmware on G900F Device

Hi! Ive been using CM13 for my device until recently when I decided that I would like to go back to the stock samsung ROM. Having decided, Ive tried to flash the SM-G900F firmware through Odin but it didnt work; Ive tried 4 different firmware packages from different countries and android versions, yet they all resulted in failure. My phone is currently soft-bricked with access to (stock-samsung) recovery and download mode.

Ive noticed, however, that on the back label, my device is the SM-G900F, but in download mode, it reads SM-G900P. I figured that maybe the Odin flashes were failing because my device is actually the G900P. I was wondering if I could try flash the G900P firmware through Odin, but Im hesistant. If the flashing fails, will my device be hard-bricked?
