Look What I did!
Look What I did!
Finally got my computer to boot to an EFI file! Took me about 4 months, and it ended up being really simple. Wasted a lot of time modifying and flashing my BIOS to go about it different ways, and finally one of my ideas worked. This is on my HP dv7t-4100, which is a laptop with almost all of its EFI functionality hidden or removed by its manufacture. Took advantage of HPs System Diagnostics UEFI Tool since I knew that this is the only case when my computer would natively boot to an EFI file.
The file HPs tool runs is CryptRSA.efi which verifies the signature of SystemDiags.efi before preceding to pass control to that file. Unfortunately modifying any of these files would prevent booting into the diagnostics tool. I looked through a bunch of CryptRSA.efi files from a lot of different versions of HPs applications and noticed that they were all exactly the same. This made me assume that they didnt modify them because all their BIOS already implemented the code to verify that specific CryptRSA.efi files integrity. So they would have to release updates for all BIOS if they were to alter CryptRSA.efi in any way.
So then it was just down to finding out how they verified that file and how I could modify this verification to launch a different EFI file. Easy enough since their CryptRSA.efi verification was just a SHA-1 hash. In the end Im now capable of booting into an EFI shell!
And heres me trying to run Windows 8s installer on my MBR disk. I guess its time to switch over to GPT.
Update: Crahzee successfully performed the same mod on his HP G62-220CA bios. Congratulations! Hes the first person Ive seen recreate this! Heres a screen shot of his work. Hope Crahzee doesnt mind me posting this. I like it a lot because it says my name a few times lol :)

Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isnt CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what youre doing - then fine, go ahead, but please dont complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

I forgot to do facory reset before I started installing a custom rom now its stuck on the screen where the blue smiely is (cyanogenmod logo) I dont know what to do its been like this for 30 minutes and i dont know what to do

Conoce la agenda del Google I O 2013
A partir del 15 al 17 de mayo del 2013 son unos días muy especiales para los seguidores de Google, sobretodo por la variedad que tienen planteada en su agenda y por los diversos rumores y presunciones, que abarcan una nueva versión de Android (4.3 o 5.0) que posiblemente contará con sincronización de datos de apps en la nube, así como el Google Games Center, entre otros. Por ello, lo ideal es contar con una agenda del evento
La siguiente agenda es una forma resumida de la oficialmente presentada por Google, pero sin incluir los desayunos, almuerzos, descansos, los chequeos, las horas disponibles de las "Google Store", entre otras actividades que a nosotros no nos interesa del todo (al menos que tu idea es estar allá físicamente). Observa que la apertura es a las 9am (hora de San Francisco) y que tiene una duración de 3 horas.
Dentro de las "sesiones" existen un mundo aparte, bastante extenso, donde incluye:

- Chrome
- Google+
- YouTube
- Google Maps
- Glass
- Tech Talk
- Entre otros.

I Graduated
I finally graduated! These last four years seem to have flew by, and its kind of nostalgic to think about everything that happened in that time. Even though everyone acted like I had accomplished something monumental today, I cant help but think about how relativity small this achievement is when compared to everything else that Ill do in my life ;)

A pocos días del evento mas esperado de la comunidad Android muchos han sido los rumores que han girado entorno al mismo y hasta ahora aunque muchos suenan creíbles nada se ha confirmado. Como lo destaca la imagen el evento se realizará entre el 15 y el 17 de mayo en la ciudad de San Francisco, destacando que la presentación que nos interesa, la cual tendrá una duración de tres horas se realizará el día 15, allí serian presentadas todas las novedades destinadas a Android y Chrome.
Por mucho tiempo los usuarios esperamos y creímos confirmado el lanzamiento de Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, pero en los últimos días "nos bajaron de esa nube" y se de por hecho que lo que se presentaría es una actualización de Jelly Bean a Android 4.3, en donde la misma complementaria a las nuevas funcionalidades que Google anunciaría y que serán parte de las nuevas aplicaciones que podrían llegar.
Los gadgets que se espera sean presentados son los sucesores de las actualices Nexus tablets, siendo las mismas fabricadas por las mismas empresas, ASUS y Samsung, la Nexus 7 vendría a ser sustituida por la ASUS Nexus 8 (que podría ser de 7.8 o 7.9 pulgadas) con una resolución de 1920x1200, también la Nexus 11 que sustituiría a la Nexus 10 fabricada por Samsung.
Otras de las grandes novedades que se podrían presentar son Google Babel, el nuevo nivel de servicio de mensajería que integraría varias aplicaciones de Google y las uniría en una nueva interfaz evolucionada. También se espera la gran presentación del Google Games Center, reseñado recientemente en nuestra web.
Estos son solo los aspectos destacados que podrían ser presentados, se esperan muchas mas novedades y sorpresas, ¿Cual te ha llamado mas la atención? ¿Que incluirías en esta lista?
