How To Flash Any MTK Android

Whats needed:

USB data cable
MediaTek USB VCOM drivers
SP Flash Tool ( Latest version MTK Flash Tool v. 5.1343.01 (18.10.2013))

First of all, make sure that you have MediaTek DA USB VCOM drivers installed.

Flashing the whole ROM

First of all open SP Flash Tool, then click Scatter-loading button to load the correct scatter file
(MT6575_Android_scatter_emmc.txt or MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt, depending on which phone you have) for your device and ignore any message that may appear.

Turn off your phone, remove the battery and replace it after some seconds (and dont turn on the phone).
Press F9 (or hit Download button) and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
The process will start and a red progress bar will appear.

After the red progress bar is complete, there will appear a purple progress bar.

Right after the purple progress bar is complete, a message will appear underneath it:
“Please insert USB cable in x seconds” and then the download will start right away (you will see the yellow progress bar filling up).

When the yellow bar is complete, youll get a popup with a green circle and Download OK message,
which means that the process has been successfully terminated.

You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on. The process ends here.

Flashing only part of the ROM

In case you want to flash just one part of the ROM, that is also possible. In the shown example, only recovery image will be flashed.
Deselect all parts except the one(s) you want to flash and then press F9 (or hit Download button).

The tool will immediately show a warning because not all parts are selected, but you should continue anyway. Safely press Yes to continue.

The download of the chosen partition image will start and after the yellow bar is complete, the popup with the green circle should appear.

Please note that, even though it isnt mandatory to select it on the list of images to flash,
preloader file must be present in the same folder as the other partition(s) that you want to flash, or else phone will not be able to enter into download mode.

Attention: Please follow the instructions carefully. I will not take any responsibility on whatever may happen with your phone.

Very important warning: Always make sure that you trust the sources of the ROM you download and know that it is meant for your phone.
After flashing a wrong preloader, your phone will be completely dead (cant be powered on, it will not charge and wont be detected anymore by the computer) and there is no way to recover it.

How to backup roms of MTK devices using MTK Driod tools

Note

Device must be rooted & CWM recovery installed.

Make sure there is about 2GB of memory in your device SD card.

No file is lost or changed after this procedure.

Download MTK Droid Tools from here
Download android adb drivers from here or here
Learn how to root your device from here.
Learn to install CWM from here

Launch MTK droid tools.
Boot device into CWM recovery by holding volume up and power button for about 3secs.
Connect device to PC and wait for MTK droid tools to detect it.
The small square in cyan color shows phone is booted in CWM recovery.
Click on backup, root, recovery tab.
Click Backup button and wait for the ROM ro back up. This will take about 15mins.
When Back up is complete, navigate to backups inside MTK droid tools folder.
You will see a folder with name of the device you just backed up.
Open MTK droid tools in the backup, root, recovery tab and click prepare blocks for flash tool
Navigate to backups inside MTK droid tools folder.
Open the folder having the name of your device.
Select files.md5 and wait for the process to complete. This might take 2 - 5 mins.
When it is completed. navigate to the folder having the name of the device.
The ROM back up is found inside the !Files_to_FlashTool folder.

Cara Read Flash :
1. Extract semua bahan yang sudah di downloa...jadikan dalam 1 folder (untuk mempermudah proses)

Pinout Nokia 108 RM-944

2. Install Driver Nokia MTK sampai selesai
3. Jalankan "GPG Dragon V3.53C Crack.exe" kemudian klik tab "NOKIA"
4. Pada tab Port pilih "USB"
5. Uncheklist pada "Scan Pinout"
6. Pada tab Operation Option pilih "ReadFlash" kemudian klik "..." (untuk menyimpan file)

7. Ketikkan nama file yang ingin di simpan lalu klik "Save"
Perhatikan : Sebelum Agan klik Save, pastikan agan mengingat tempat/folder dimana menyimpan file tersebut.

8. Klik "STAR"
9. HH dalam keadaan mati masukkan batre kemudian sambungkan HH ke PC, maka proses Read Flash akan berjalan...

10. Tunggu hingga proses Read Flash selesai...sambil ngopi+ngrokoklah....

11. Simpan file hasil Read di tempat yang aman...
12. Enjooooyyy....

CHANGE REPAIR RESTORE IMEI OF MTK DEVICES

People often face a problem with no network detection on their device which might be due to loss of imei on their device. Some just want to change it for a different purpose. So if you fall in any of this category this tutorial is for you.
To check your imei, dial *#06#.
The following easy steps below will teach you how to RESTORE or CHANGE your imei using your pc.

Note.

Changing of imei is prohibited in some countries.

This Works only on MTK Devices.

Your phone must be rooted before you can do this. learn how to root your device from here

Download Android ADB Drivers here
Download MTK Droid Tools from here.
Extract the file and launch MTKdroidTools

Now turn on USB Debugging by going to Settings > Developer Options > Turn on USB Debugging. On new models goto Settings > About - hit build Number 7 times. you will see you are now a Developer. Go back and select Developers Option then turn on USB Debugging mode.

Connect your phone to your PC with a USB.
MTKdroidTools will dectect the phone.

Now press the ROOT button present in lower right corner. When it asks Supersu grant in your mobile click allow. After MTKdroidTools gets access to the phone should see a green colour box appearing in the lower left corner.

Now Click IMEI/NVRAM

A new dialogue box appears. Input the new imei inside the boxes. imei 1 for Sim 1 and imei 2 for Sim 2. Now click Replace IMEI.

Congrats! you have successfully change/replace your imei.

This same thing can be achieved using Mobile Uncle tools on your Device. I will post a tutorial about that soon.

How To Use SP Flash Tool To Fix MTK Devices

If you are an Android geek & love to play with custom ROMs, recoveries & Kernels, one day youll encounter a hard bricked device. Now what does hard brick mean? If you cant boot up your device, cannot get into recovery mode or see boot logo this would actually leave your device in a state where it is not more than a brick. SP Flash tool is an application for Windows & linxu which you could find very useful in fixing extreme cases of a bricked MTK Android. SP Flash Tool also known as Smartphone Flash Tool provides many options like flashing custom or stock recoveries or Kernel (boot.img). As Mediatek Smartphone dont have an Official tool for any such problems, SP Flash tool is really a boon for Mediatek Smartphone users. Requirements:

A PC with Windows or Linux OS.
USB Cord
Manually install VCOM drivers on the PC
Your bricked Android device.
Original/Working Stock ROM (Do a proper research as flashing the wrong ROM would permanently brick your device)
Download SP Flash tool Latest version

How to Install VCOM Drivers:

Open Device manager from My computer. Click on any item & Goto Actions > Add legacy hadware.
Now, Press next & select Install drivers manually.
Press next & click on Have disk.
From the browse option, select the VCOM drivers as per your OS.
Once its done. You will see a screen similar to this:

Once you are done with the Installation part, goto device manager & youll find a device similar to this:

How to Flash ROM using SP Flash Tool:

1. Remove the battery from the phone and slot it back in without booting the phone (If the battery is inbuilt then simply switch if off). Also, ensure theres no SD card in the phone (if theres an SD card slot)

2. Launch SP Flash Tool as Administrator

3. Click on Scatter-loading option & browse to the scatter file of your Stock ROM. (You can find the scatter file with the original stock rom zip file)

This will load few names on your screen with a selected box.

4. Now, if you want to format your phone, Click Format at the top.

5. Once you are done with everything, click on the download button at the top of the window

Start flashing

6. Stop should now be prominent while other options should be grayed out

7. Connect the switched off phone (with battery inside) to the PC via USB cord

8. A progress bar should start running

9. Disconnect the phone, remove the battery for 15 seconds (if removable), slot it back in then power up the phone.

FLASH MediaTek MTK ANDROID PHONES WITH SP FLASH TOOL

Got any MediaTek device like Tecno, Gionee, infinix, BML, etc bricked either by installing custom roms or by rooting the device, you can now flash it using SP Flash tool. Just follow the steps below and your mobile phone will come back to life...

1 - Download Android ADB drivers here or here
2 - Download SP Flash tool here or here
3 - Power off your phone and remove battery
4 - Download the Stock or Custom Rom you want to flash on your smart phone. Make sure you download the exact Rom of your phone. Download Roms from here
5 - Extract SP Flash tool on your computer and launch it.

6 - Once it is launched, click on Scatter-loading button

7- locate the scatter file in the Rom of the phone that you downloaded. its usually a text file

8 - Click on download to begin the flashing process

9 - Connect your Smart phone to the computer with a USB without battery. Press Vol Down or Up so that the computer can easily detect the phone.

10 - Once the Flashing is complete you will see a green circle confirming... with Download OK

11 - Close the SP flash Tool and disconnect your phone from the computer. Your Phone is now flashed with the Rom.

If your phone bootloops, remove battery and boot into recovery mode. Factory reset the phone.
