CHANGE REPAIR RESTORE IMEI OF MTK DEVICES
To check your imei, dial *#06#.
The following easy steps below will teach you how to RESTORE or CHANGE your imei using your pc.
Note.
Changing of imei is prohibited in some countries.
This Works only on MTK Devices.
Your phone must be rooted before you can do this. learn how to root your device from here
Download Android ADB Drivers here
Download MTK Droid Tools from here.
Extract the file and launch MTKdroidTools
Now turn on USB Debugging by going to Settings > Developer Options > Turn on USB Debugging. On new models goto Settings > About - hit build Number 7 times. you will see you are now a Developer. Go back and select Developers Option then turn on USB Debugging mode.
Connect your phone to your PC with a USB.
MTKdroidTools will dectect the phone.
Now press the ROOT button present in lower right corner. When it asks Supersu grant in your mobile click allow. After MTKdroidTools gets access to the phone should see a green colour box appearing in the lower left corner.
Now Click IMEI/NVRAM
A new dialogue box appears. Input the new imei inside the boxes. imei 1 for Sim 1 and imei 2 for Sim 2. Now click Replace IMEI.
Congrats! you have successfully change/replace your imei.
This same thing can be achieved using Mobile Uncle tools on your Device. I will post a tutorial about that soon.

Step 1- Open the Search Box (Win + W) and type system restore.Must Read- Windows 8 Keyboard Shortcuts list and Complete list of Run Commands for Windows 8
Step 2- Now, youll find some setting related to the phrase System Restore, their click on create a restore point.
Step 3- Now the System Properties Windows opens, their select the system protection tab and click on the Create button near to bottom.
Step 4- Now a small pop-up box opened, their type the name of your system restore point and click on create button.[Write descriptive name for your restore point, so you can remember.]
Step 5- Itll take few minutes to created your restore point. Thats it.
How to Recover or fix Windows 8 or 8.1 with System Restore Point
Step 1- Open System Properties windows, (follow above 1 & 2 steps) and there click on System Restore buttons.Step 2- Now, System Restore windows opens, there click on Next button and select a system restore point that you created previously and click on Next button and after confirmation of time and description click on Finish button.

Dear Experts,
somebody I know has managed to delete all the contacts, stored in the SIM card of a Nokia 7230.
There are also a Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone and a Windows laptop at disposition.
Can please somebody advise about some program / app which is able to restore the contacts ?

Before you buy a new cell phone or a new tablet, try the following procedure to repair your appliance. Charge first battery, make backups of your important data, if possible, and in most cases, remove SIM and SD card. Unable to recover data after performing a hard reset, Internet backup is always important. For all data, a backup should be performed on an external device, hard disk or system support band. With or without insurance, if your lost cell phone, damaged or stolen, at least, is a backup copy of your valuable data in a safe place.
Nokia Lumia 1520 force reboot and factory reset
Press and hold both the Volume down and the Power keys for 15 seconds. Warning! All downloaded apps, messages, all data will be deleted and restored to factory state!
Nokia Lumia 1520 hard reset
First try this to soft reset your Nokia 1520 Lumia. Turn off your Nokia 1520 Press and hold the Volume down and Power buttons until it vibrates, after that you have to release all the keys then phone will vibrate 3 times. All data will be lost!
To hard reset your Nokia Lumia 1520 using key combination WP8 Windows Phone 8

1. Turn your Lumia 1520 off.

4. Your phone will reset and reboot. Pls be patient during the reset process.

Turn off your Nokia Lumia 1520. Press and hold the following buttons Camera + Volume down + Power until your phone vibrates, then release only the Power key and keep pressing the Camera + Volume down for a couple of seconds 4-5s until the phone reboots.

This tutorial will help you restore any or all the changes you have made to the system and also revert it back to stock or factory images. This guide will also help you unbrick your Samsung Galaxy S7 device if the Download/Odin Mode is accessible on your Galaxy device. This is a usual Odin flash method common to almost all Samsung Galaxy devices. All you need to do is download the proper firmware file for your Galaxy device and flash it using Odin for PC. Yes, you will need to connect your device to your PC running Odin. This is not an official process, though, but it is a common practice among Samsung users who like to tinker with their Android device.

Warning: Although going through this procedure should not cause harm or any damage to your device, it remains an unofficial process and you should be cautious about it. Readers discretion is advised.
Prerequisites
1. Verify your device for compatibility. Check out the download section.
2. Enable USB Debugging on your device. To do so, go to Settings>About Phone> Tap on the Build Number several times until you get a new Developer Options in the Settings. Open Developer Options and enable USB Debugging from there. Trust the connection by allowing it when you connect it to your PC for the first time.
3. Make sure you have latest device drivers setup on your PC for a better connection. Get it from the download section official from the manufacturer.
4. Backup everything before you proceed. Odin performs a clean install, that you will lose apps, data, media, etc.
How to Restore to Stock Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Step 1: Download the listed firmware for your Galaxy device. Extract the zip file to get the firmware with .taror .tar.md5 extension and place at a location where you can easily locate it in your PC.
Step 2: Now boot your device into Download/Odin Mode. To do so, turn off your device completely and then press and hold Power button + Volume Down + Home keys for a few seconds. If you see a warning sign press Volume up/ Volume down to get the Odin screen.
Step 3: If you already have Odin software on your PC then simply run the Odin3_3.10.7.exe file. If not, then download the Odin3.zip file from the download section and extract it. Run Odin software as administrator.
Step 4: While your device is still in the Odin Mode, connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
Step 5: After a successful connection, the ID: COM in the Odin should turn Blue and an Added!! message should be displayed in the Log tab. In case your device doesnt show up in Odin, then you can troubleshoot it with the steps given at the end of the tutorial.
Step 6: Now click on AP button and add the firmware file by navigating to the file path. Once added, it should show like this File PathG930FXXU1APAW_G930FXSA1APAW_XSA.tar.md5
Step 7: Take care that only Auto Rebootand F.Reset Time are selected in the Options tab. Do not check Re-Partition.
Step 8: Once done, verify everything and proceed with installation by selecting Start button.
Step 9: When you get a PASS! message in the Log tab on your Odin software, that means firmware has successfully been installed and the device will restart itself. If not then reboot manually.
