How to Check Whether Your Samsung Galaxy Phone Is Original or Clone Fake

How to Check Whether Your Samsung Galaxy Phone Is Original or Clone Fake

Many people are trying to make their customer fool by giving them fake and high-class clones of Samsung phones against the price of original one which come out of factory.

To avoid any fraud while visiting the market to buy a handsome cell, of course, you should note some techniques for checking the phone you are buying is original or fake or refurbished. We should also focus on the term ‘refurbished.’ So many people try to cheat by offering ‘refurbished’ or ‘remanufactured’ phones. If you love to save a little money by considering a refurbished phone right for you, that’s not bad. But when you pay full amount and get a refurbished model, it is not fair and of course we should take action against it.

Here, we are sharing some tips you can use to check your Samsung Galaxy phone is original or clone. We cannot save everyone but these tips certainly help.

How to Check Whether Your Samsung Galaxy Phone Is Original or Clone/Fake

Antutu Officer: This is most preferred method to check the phone’s originality for me and I recommend it you too. AnTuTu is a trusty platform for bringing interesting stories of Samsung devices and we love that. Read on how to use AnTuTu for checking whether the phone is real or fake.

Requirements: Your Samsung phone/tablet and a computer or another device connected to an internet connection.

Step 1: Download and install the AnTuTu Officer application from the app store on your Samsung phone.

Step 2: Fire up the installed application.

Step 3: If the app requires any update, install the update, otherwise skip this step. After updating the app, you may get a screen saying you to replace the existing version of app with updated version, agree with it and replace the older version of app.

Step 4: Launch the AnTuTu officer app and hit ‘start’ button. It will launch the camera application along with a QR code scanner.

Step 5: On your computer or another device, go to following page: y.antutu.com

Step 6: Now simply scan the QR code from your phone shown on webpage and wait until it bring result. If your phone is original, the app will make you happy by bringing message saying “Good”. If your Samsung’s device is clone/fake, you will receive message “high copy” or similar to this.

That’s it. It is an easy way to confirm your phone is original or not. I personally trust on this method a lot.

Remove write protection from your flash drive memory card

Remove write protection from your flash drive memory card

Some memory cards and USB pen drives have write protection switches, which allows you to prevent files from being deleted, or any new files being written to the device. It also prevents the drive or card from being formatted.

Here are a couple of methods you can try to format the drive and remove the write protection. Bear in mind that there is no guarantee that they will work for you: your drive or memory card may be corrupt or broken and no utility or low-level formatting tool will make it work again. The only solution in this case is to buy a new drive.Occasionally, you’ll find that a USB flash drive will refuse to format and Windows will tell you that it is write protected, even though there is no switch.

Removing write-protection in the Registry using Regedit.exe

In any version of Windows from XP onwards, run Regedit.exe (searching regedit will usually show the program at the top of the list).
Navigate to the following key:
ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEM
CurrentControlSetControlStorageDevicePolicies
Regedit StorageDevicePolicies
Double-click on the WriteProtect value in the right-hand pane of Regedit.exe. Change the Value data from 1 to 0 and click OK to save the change. Close Regedit and restart your computer. Connect your USB drive again, and you should find it is no longer write protected. You can now format the drive as normal by right-clicking on it in My Computer and choosing Format.
If you can’t find StorageDevicePolicies, you can try creating a key by right-clicking in the white space in the Control folder and choosing New -> Key and carefully entering the name.
Regedit new key
Now double-click on the new key (folder) and right-click once again and choose New -> DWORD. Name it WriteProtect and set its value to 0. Click OK, exit Regedit and reboot your computer.
If this method doesn’t work, try the following:

Removing write-protection using Diskpart

With your USB drive plugged in, launch a command prompt. Do this by searching for cmd.exe in the Start menu (or Start screen in Windows 8). In Windows XP, click Start then Run, and type cmd.exe in the box.
NOTE: you may need to run Cmd.exe with administrator privileges if you see an “access is denied” message.
To do that, right-click on the shortcut and choose Run as administrator. In Windows 8, simply choose Command prompt (admin).
Now, type the following, pressing Enter after each command:
diskpart
list disk
select disk x (where x is the number of your USB flash drive – use the capacity to work out which one it is)
attributes disk clear readonly
clean
create partition primary
format fs=fat32  (you can swap fat32 for ntfs if you only need to use the drive with Windows computers)
exit
 Diskpart

How to install CyanogenMod 13 on your Android device

How to install CyanogenMod 13 on your Android device

Google’s freshest and greatest Android version 6.0 Marshmallow is now officially announced.However, if your Android device is popular enough, you wouldn’t have to wait long to get Android Marshmallow on it, thanks to ROMs like CyanogenMod 13 aka CM13.

If you are already running CyanogenMod 12/12.1 on your Android device, you have no reason to not upgrade your device to CM13. Even though the ROM does not offer any major new feature right now, Marshmallow in itself brings about a lot of bug fixes and performance improvements compared to Lollipop that makes the jump to CM13 worth it. Some of these new features include an app permissions manager, Direct Share, native fingerprint scanner support and APIs, automatic app data backup to Google Drive, and more.

Prerequisites:

  • Backup any important data from your android device as a complete wipe will be required during the flashing process.

  • Enable USB debugging option on your device: Settings > Development Options > USB debugging.

  • Nexus 5x must be rooted, unlocked and installed with a recovery tool like TWRP or CWM.

  • Your device must be charged to at least 60% of power.

Disclaimer: droidupdatez cannot be held responsible for any damage or claims from readers if the procedure does not yield the required results or if the smartphone is bricked. Hence, users are advised to proceed with caution.

How to install CM13

Step 1: Transfer the CyanogenMod 13 ROM and the Gapps ZIP file to the internal storage of your device. It is always recommended that you cross check to make sure that you have downloaded the right version of CyanogenMod and the Google Apps package.

Step 2: With the ROM transferred, reboot your Android device into recovery mode. This usually involves switching off the device and then booting it into recovery by pressing and holding the volume and power buttons in a specific key combination.

Step 3: Once your device has booted into recovery mode, you need to wipe the /data and /system partitions. Head over to the ‘Wipe’ option, and then swipe the bar at the bottom to do a factory reset.
Do not use the format data option as it will wipe the internal storage of the device. To format the system partition, tap on ‘Advanced Wipe’, select ‘System’ from the list of partitions and then swipe the bottom bar to the right to confirm your selection.

Step 4: Now, install CyanogenMod on your device by tapping on ‘Install’ button in TWRP and then navigating to the CM ROM zip file that you had transferred to the device in Step 1. If you are unable to find the ZIP file, make sure to check that you are inside /sdcard sub-directory.

Step 5: Reboot your device by tapping the ‘Reboot system’ option. The first boot can take its own sweet time so be patient. In case your device does not boot into Android after 10-15 minutes and is still stuck at the boot logo, repeat the steps from above and reflash the ROM.

Step 6: Once your device reaches the homescreen, let it idle for a few minutes. You still need to install Google’s suite of apps and services, so switch of your device and reboot it back into Android. Then simply tap on ‘Install’ and select the ‘Gapps’ ZIP file that you had transferred to the device in Step 1.

After the ZIP file has been installed, reboot your device back into Android. You can proceed to set it up by logging into your Google account and downloading your favourite apps and games.

If you are facing any other issue while installing CyanogenMod 13 on your Android device, drop in a comment below and I will help you out.

Activate your Apple Id on your iphone iDevice Read All

Activate your Apple Id on your iphone iDevice Read All

Too many users are complaining about not being able to activate iDevices after update , and being asked for an Apple ID Activation , here is a little guide about this problem and its resolution :

How does Activation Lock work?

When you enable Find My iPhone on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 7, your Apple ID is securely stored on Apple’s activation servers and linked to your device. From that point on, your password will be required before anyone can turn off Find My iPhone on your device, erase your device, or reactivate and use your device.

Activation Lock is enabled automatically when you turn on Find My iPhone in iOS 7, or when you upgrade to iOS 7 from a previous version of iOS that has Find My iPhone already turned on.

To turn on Find My iPhone on your device:

Go to Settings.
Tap iCloud.
Sign in with your Apple ID, if necessary.
Turn on Find My iPhone.

What if I forget my Apple ID password?

If you forget your password, you can reset it at My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com) or by contacting Apple Support and verifying your identity. Once your password has been reset, it will work normally with Find My iPhone and Activation Lock.

If you forget your password and cannot reset it, you will lose access to your Apple ID and may be unable to use or reactivate your device. To help prevent this, visit My Apple ID periodically to review and update your account information.

What if I purchase a device that is still linked to the previous owners account?

Contact the previous owner as soon as possible and ask them to erase the device and remove it from their account. For complete instructions, read how to remove a device from a previous owners account. ( Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner?s account ) .

Resolution

If the device has already been erased
If the device has already been erased, but is still linked to the previous owner’s account, you will be prompted for the previous owner’s Apple ID and password during the device setup and activation process (shown below).

If the previous owner is with you and can access the device
Ask them to enter their Apple ID and password on the Activate iPhone screen (shown above) to remove the device from their account. You can then proceed through the rest of the device setup process.

If the previous owner is not present
Contact them and ask them to follow these steps to remove the device from their account:

Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
Choose the device from their Find My iPhone device list by clicking All Devices and selecting the correct device.
Click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device has been removed from the previous owner’s account, turn it off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button located on the top right side of the device. Then restart your device and proceed with device setup as you would normally.

If the device has not been erased
If the device has not been erased, you will be able to access either the Home or Lock screen as shown below.

If the previous owner is with you and can access the device
Ask them to erase all content and settings by choosing Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. They will need to provide their Apple ID and password. After the device has been erased, you will be able to proceed with the device setup process.

If the previous owner is not present
Make sure the device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Then contact the previous owner and ask them to follow these steps:

Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
Select the device from their Find My iPhone device list by clicking All Devices at the top of the screen.
Erase the device by clicking the Erase button. This will erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, do not enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device has been erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.

GUIDE MOD 4 3 How to add Blur background to your Recent Apps Notification Panel

GUIDE MOD 4 3 How to add Blur background to your Recent Apps Notification Panel

One line - One blur background

I will guide you to add blur background to recent apps panel, but you can add to any layout you want.

Requirements
  • Apktool 2.0
  • SystemUI.apk (or any other app you want)
  • Notepad++ for editting
  • Brain.apk installed :D
LETS START
- First, decompile your SystemUI.apk
- Download and extract simon_blur_background.zip (5.1 KB) then merge the smali folder to your decompiled folder.
- Open http://ift.tt/2aCxT4J
- Now find this method:
Code:

# direct methods
.method static constructor <clinit>()V

- Scroll a little bit down, youll see this:
Code:

    const/16 v0, 0x320

    sput v0, Lcom/simonoid/blur/BlurImageView;->HIGH:I

    const/16 v0, 0x1e0

    sput v0, Lcom/simonoid/blur/BlurImageView;->WIDHT:I

- Look at the BLUE hex code. Its my phone resolution (480x800 in hexadecimal is 1e0x320). You have to change it to match your devices resolution or itll get FC error.
320 is the height
1e0 is the width
You can click HERE to convert decimal to hexadecimal number.
Or you can use some presets:
Code:

Decimal = Hexadecimal
480 = 1e0
540 = 21c
800 = 320
960 = 3c0
1080 = 438
1920 = 780

Then you can save it.
- Now go to the layout you want to add blur background, for example: http://ift.tt/1mYP9yy (for Recent Apps panel). Add the blue code:
Code:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<com.android.systemui.recent.RecentsPanelView android_id="@id/recents_root" android_background="@color/recents_background" android_layout_width="fill_parent" android_layout_height="fill_parent" systemui_recentItemLayout="@layout/status_bar_recent_item"
  http://ift.tt/1jD6tMP;
    <com.simonoid.blur.BlurImageView android_id="@id/backgroundImageView" android_layout_width="fill_parent" android_layout_height="fill_parent" android_scaleType="centerCrop" />
    <FrameLayout android_id="@id/recents_bg_protect" android_clipChildren="false" android_clipToPadding="false" android_layout_width="fill_parent" android_layout_height="fill_parent" android_layout_alignParentBottom="true">
        <com.android.systemui.recent.NokiaRecentsHorizontalScrollView android_id="@id/recents_container" android_fitsSystemWindows="true" android_scrollbars="none" android_fadingEdgeLength="0.0dip" android_layout_width="fill_parent" android_layout_height="fill_parent" android_layoutDirection="ltr">
            <LinearLayout android_orientation="horizontal" android_id="@id/recents_linear_layout" android_layout_width="fill_parent" android_layout_height="fill_parent" />
        </com.android.systemui.recent.NokiaRecentsHorizontalScrollView>
    </FrameLayout>
    <include android_id="@id/recents_no_apps" android_visibility="invisible" android_layout_width="fill_parent" android_layout_height="fill_parent" layout="@layout/status_bar_no_recent_apps" />
</com.android.systemui.recent.RecentsPanelView>

- Now recompile your apk and push to your system. :fingers-crossed:
- Finally hit the Thanks :good: button and tell me if it works. :o
- If youre encountering any errors then post here (with log) so that I could help

NOTE: If youre going to add blur background in somewhere in http://ift.tt/2aCxBLp and you dont know where to put the smali. Just put it in framework.jar :fingers-crossed:

How to create an Apple ID on your iPhone or iPad

How to create an Apple ID on your iPhone or iPad
In order to use iCloud, you need to have an Apple ID. An Apple ID is also required to buy media from iTunes and apps and games from the App Store. Youll also need an Apple ID if you plan on using services such as FaceTime or iMessage. In other words, to get the most out of your devices, you need an Apple ID! Luckily, if you dont already have one, Apple has made it easy to set up right from your iPhone or iPad!

How to create a new Apple ID on your iPhone or iPad

  1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap on iCloud.
  3. Tap on Get a Free Apple ID.
  4. Enter your birthday and tap Next in the upper right hand corner.
  5. On the next screen you can choose whether you want to use your current email or set up a brand new iCloud email. That choice is yours. So choose and then tap Next again.
  6. If you chose to set up a new ID, choose what youd like your new iCloud email to be on the next screen. Once youre done, tap Next.
  7. Tap Create on the next screen.
  8. If you choose to use an existing email, youll be asked tocheck your email and tap on a link to confirm you own the email. Once you do, you can move on.
  9. For both methods, youll be asked to choose a password. We recommend choosing a strong password that has small and capital letters along with numbers and symbols.
