- Get your screen ready of which you want to take a screenshot / snapshot of!
- Now, simultaneously hold Power Button and Volume Down button for 2 – 3 seconds.
- Immediately, you will have a preview of a screenshot and a new notification will be seen in your status bar.
- In the notification, it will say that the “Screenshot Captured”.
So, this is how you can take screenshot on Moto G4 Plus without using apps. In order to view the captured screenshot, pull down from the status bar and tap on notification. If you have cleared the notification, then go to Gallery and see the Screenshots folder to find all your captured screenshots in your device.

Moto G 2015 XT1072 model is finally receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update with software version 24.41.34.en.EU.
The OTA update is 500MB in size and is already on the roll as we speak. If you haven’t received the update yet, go to Settings » About phone » Software updates and hit the Check button to manually check for the update.

How to Install Android Marshmallow 6.0 OTA on Motorola Moto G (XT1072):
If Moto G (XT1072) device series owners are getting the update notifications, then select - "Yes, Im in" option >> then, after downloading, select >> "Install now." The phone will restart automatically and the OS will be updated to the new version.
Until then, users can also check manually on the smartphone by going to – Settings >> About phone >> System update >> Check Now;
We like to remind out readers that the roll-out process is carried out in phases, so it will take some time to reach all corners of the country.

Moto G SD card not detected after rooting
Moto G SD card not detected after rooting
Hi,
I have successfully unlocked the bootloader and has full root access to my Moto G. However, I notice that SD card is not now getting detected. I have looked around and dont see any resolutions for this for Moto G.
However, it looks as if it was reported for a HTC mode. And fix suggested was the below ADB commands
fastboot oem enableqxdm 0
But enableqxdm is returning as an unrecognised command. Could anyone help please?:confused:

Hace pocos días Motorola hizo publico un anuncio con su nuevo logo y un posible mensaje "oculto en el" (las siglas XI que forman las 2 personas que se están lanzando al agua), lo cual fue entendido por la prensa como la fecha de lanzamiento del "Moto X" (lo cual fue falso ;-). A partir de ese momento comenzó una ola de leaks de las posibles carcasas personalizables, rumores y especulaciones sobre las especificaciones.
Hoy se filtro un vídeo promocional del Moto X proveniente de la compañía telecomunicaciones Rogers de Canada, donde podemos destacar funciones como la posibilidad de interactuar con Google Now estando el smartphone con la pantalla apagada, también podremos activar la cámara agitando el movil y algo que nos llamo mucho la atención (para bien o para mal) es la manera de las notificaciones, en vez de encender el led aparece el nombre de la aplicación en pantalla, se especula que mientras tengamos el smartphone en el bolsillo esta notificación no aparecerá pero si cuando lo saquemos del bolsillo nos aparecerán estas notificaciones en pantalla, es decir que el Moto X sabrá cuando lo tengamos en la mano.
El Moto X sera un smartphone con una gran capacidad de personalización ya que podremos elegir el color que mas nos guste (se rumora que 16 colores) y materiales de construcción como metal, kevlar, fibra de carbono, plástico, madera, cerámica.
En cuanto a las especificaciones se rumora que el Moto X contara con Android 4.3, pantalla Amoled de 4.7" a 720p, cámara de 10mp con tecnología clear pixel, 2GB de RAM, procesador Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 potenciado con GPU Adreno 320 lo cual lo hace muy interesante. Con respecto a la batería solo se sabe que sera de gran autonomía como lo viene haciendo Motorola hace algún tiempo y su precio no se conoce con exactitud, pero Motorola asegura que sera inferior a los Gama alta de Samsung, Sony, HTC.

Días atrás le informamos lo que se conoce del Moto X, muchas cosas comprobadas con el vídeo filtrado de la compañía de telecomunicaciones Rogers. Hoy Motorola decidió ponerle fin a este mar de rumores y anuncia la fecha de presentación del Moto X, el 1 de Agosto. El evento se llevara a cabo en la ciudad de New York (como debe ser).
Con respecto a las especificaciones del equipo "poco queda por conocer", aspectos como la capacidad de la batería, precio y la personalización del equipo, son de las características mas esperadas por los usuarios.

Finalmente el Moto X de Motorola
Hoy a sido finalmente revelado el nuevo equipo de Motorola, luego de su adquisición por Google, por supuesto estamos hablando ya del Moto X, que fue presentado en un evento de prensa por Motorola.
Como ya saben nuestros lectores, este equipo ya se tenia expectativas de las especificaciones con las que contaría debido a la gran cantidad de filtración que circularon por la Web, y finalmente podemos confirmar que la mayoría de especulaciones iban acertadas.
En novedades este equipo cuenta con notificaciones Active Display, que gracias a la pantalla AMOLED encenderá solo cierta área de la pantalla para dar acceso a las notificaciones mientras el equipo no esta en uso.
Tambien cuenta con un control de voz siempre encendido para acceder a Google Now, seria interesante saber cual seria el rendimiento de la batería si esta opción pudiese ser desactivada.
Contara con su propio software de tomar fotografías conocido como ClearPixel, que permite capturar fotos solo con presionar la pantalla, también se puede acceder rápidamente a la cámara al voltear rápidamente la muñeca.
En apartado técnico el Moto X parece un equipo de gama media, aunque en la Web,los que cuentan ya con el equipo reportan un rendimiento mucho mejor al esperado, ahora para entrar mas en detalle, vamos a los aspectos técnicos:
- Procesador Qualcomm S4 Pro de 1.7GHz Dual Core
- GPU Adreno 320
- 2Gb de RAM
- Pantalla de 4,7" AMOLED con una resolucion de 720P
- Capacidad de almacenamiento de 16Gb/32Gb (Tambien cuenta con 2 años gratis de almacenamiento de Google Drive de 50Gb)
- Bateria de 2200mAh no removible ( Promete hasta 24 horas de vidas,y hasta 13 horas de llamada)
- Cámara Trasera de 10.5 Megapixeles
- Cámara Frontal de 2.1 Megapixeles
- Bluetooth 4.0 LE
- NFC
- GPS, AGPS, aGPS, sGPS, eCompass, GLONASS
Finalmente el equipo vendrá con la versión de Android 4.2, una gran decepción para muchos, pero hay que considerar que esto es debido a las opciones de software que dispone el Moto X, y que la nueva versión de Android 4.3 fue liberada muy recientemente.
