The latest Android N Developer Preview Beta NPD35K is the next upcoming major firmware release by Google. It brings some new features like multi-window mode, an enhanced doze mode, a revamped Settings screen and a quick toggle in the notifications panel. Don’t worry we are going to share step by step guide to safely Update your Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 6, and Nexus 9 to Android N NPD35K Developer Preview 3 Factory Image.

Prerequisites:

  • This tutorial is only for Huawei Nexus 6P and we are not sure if it will work on the other variants of the Nexus 6P on other carriers.
  • Your phone can be on any previous Android version or even on a custom ROM. It doesn’t matter at all. This tutorial will still work for installing Android N Developer Preview Beta.
Disclaimer: We provide various Firmware Updates and Rooting process along with Custom ROM, Modes, file are all belong  to their owners/developers. The autor of this site or the developers are not responsible,  if you damage or brick your device.Do it on your own risk and follow the instruction properly.

How to Update Huawei Nexus Device to Android N NPD35K Developer Preview 3 Factory Image

Step 1 – Download Android N Factory Image on your PC, if you haven’t already.
  •  Download Android N Factory Image for  Nexus 6P
  •  Download Android N Factory Image for Nexus 5X
  • Download Android N Factory Image for Nexus 6
Step 2 – Connect your Nexus Device to your computer using the USB cable.

Step 3 – Please make sure Fastboot is configured and properly installed on your computer.

Step 4 – Turn OFF your phone.

Step 5 – Get into the Fastboot/Bootloader Mode on your phone. Turn ON the phone while pressing and holding the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons till you see the Fastboot menu and START on top.

Step 6 – Now extract the downloaded file anywhere in your computer. Go to the folder angler-NPD35K and then copy/paste all the files to your Fastboot directory.

Note: If you followed our tutorial on setting up Fastboot on your computer, there is a 99% chance your Fastboot directory will be the platform-tools folder in your Android SDK directory.

Step 7 – From the factory image files in your Fastboot directory, do the following depending which OS you are on:
  • On Windows: Run the file “flash-all.bat”.
  • On Mac: Run the file “flash-all.sh” using Terminal.
  • On Linux: Run the file “flash-all.sh”.
Step 8 – That’s pretty much that you had to do for flashing the stock factory image on your Nexus. Now wait and watch as the process is completed — or follow the on-screen instructions on your phone if in case you have to unlock the bootloader.

Step 9 – After the installation completes, the phone will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time. So, please wait with patience!

That’s it! Your Nexus device should now have the official Android N NPD35K Developer Preview Beta software update installed on your phone using the stock factory image from Google! Go to Settings >About phone to verify.

How to unroot unbrick Nexus 5 in Android 6 0 Marshmallow Rom

Heres a complete guide to show you how to unroot/unbrick the Nexus 5 and restore it to complete stock, like the day you first bought it on your Windows, Mac, and Linux/Ubuntu computer. This will also remove a bootloop from your Nexus 5 if you have one!

Follow the Step-by-Step Guide Below to Unroot the Nexus 5!

1. Power off your phone.

2. Enter your phone into Bootloader Mode. Press the volume up, volume down, and power button all at the same time. When your phone vibrates let go of the power button, but keep holding onto the volume up and down button.

[ads-post]
3. Plug in your phone via microUSB.

4. Download and extract UnrootNexus5.zip

5. Move the folder to your desktop.

6. On your computer open up "Device Manager" and if you see "Android Device" with a yellow triangle next to it install the drivers that are included in UnrootNexus5.zip. If you see "Bootloader Interface" move to step 7.

fastboot flash radio radio-hammerhead-M8974A-1.0.25.0.17.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader

How to Bypass Factory Reset Protection on Nexus Devices

How to Bypass Factory Reset Protection on Nexus Devices

An Android security researcher has found a way to bypass the factory reset protection (FRP) in the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow build complete with the latest May Android Security Update.

Google introduced a new security measure in Android Lollipop called Factory Reset Protection (FRP). If you are already familiar with the term factory reset, you may have figured out what FRP is. Factory Reset protection keeps your data safe in case your device gets stolen. It does so by requiring authentication after a factory reset to make the device usable.

The method detailed by RootJunky apparently manages to bypass the factory reset protection system on the Huawei-made Nexus 6P. The researcher has detailed the bypass, meant specifically for Nexus devices

Bypass Factory Reset Protection on Nexus Devices

  1. Turn off your phone, enter into recovery menu, and factory reset your device.
  2. Now you’ll see the setup wizard. Tap on any Wi-Fi connection to get the “enter password” field. But instead of entering the password hold down “,” button and go into settings.
  3. Tap on language and then tap on the three vertical dots on the top right of the screen and then tap on “Help & feedback”.
  4. Now you’ll get a search bar. Type anything there and hold the text and then select “Share” from the popup menu.
  5. Choose the option to share it via Google messenger. Once the app opens, tap on “New message”.
  6. Dial any number in the “To” input field and then tap on “Send to”.
  7. You’ll see a contact’s like icon on the top right of the next screen. Tap on it and then tap on the “tick mark” icon. This will bring up phone icon that will let you make a call.
  8. Once the call is placed hit the pause button and then hit add dialler button. This will bring up the dialler.
  9. In the input field, type *#*#4636#*#*. Doing so will open up the test mode.
  10. Tap on “Usage statistics” and then tap on the back option. Now you’ll be in device’s settings menu.
  11. From the settings, you can factory reset your phone.
Now, the requirement for FRP to appear is that a Google account must be attached and your phone must have security option enabled. Since neither of these requirements is fulfilled while factory resetting the device for the second time, FRP will be bypassed.

Now follow the setup wizard, enter details of a new Google account, and you are good to go.

Q Help Nexus 4 stuck in bootloop Recovery after flashing twrp to boot

Q Help Nexus 4 stuck in bootloop Recovery after flashing twrp to boot

Hi,

I made this post/thread because i couldnt find a solution to my problem through this forum and google.

Here is my trouble:
I was trying to install a twrp recovery and was following the instructions of a tutorial.
-So first i installed flashify and proceeded to a back up of the current kernel and current recovery
-Then downloaded a custom recovery image through TWRP release for my nexus 4
-After this i accidentally flashed the recovery image to boot instead of recovery

Now as you can guess the trouble is that my phone only boots to TWRP recovery instead of usual boot.

I tried to find aswers on this forum and google and yet i didnt find a solution.
I tried this post but without results:

http://ift.tt/29XCo9g

I would be grateful for any help and wish to recover this mistake without using a factory reset if possible.

Thank you, as you can see i am pretty new to this environment.
